Days Out Are For Dogs Too

Brewhouse & Kitchen – Chester is a city-centre brewpub where dogs are welcome inside the bar area, so you can settle in with house ales, food and the whole crew around the table. It's half a mile from the centre of Chester, handy if you're walking between the station and the historic core and need somewhere dog-friendly to stop for lunch or an afternoon pint. The menu runs alongside the brewery's own beers and the bar-area dog policy means your dog can stay with you while you eat.
The pub is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays but opens from midday on Mondays and Thursdays, with late openings on Fridays and Saturdays and an 11 a.m. start at weekends. Dogs must be kept on a lead and off the furniture, which keeps things fair for everyone sharing the space. The on-site microbrewery produces fresh craft beers weekly, and the menu includes pub classics, burgers and Sunday roasts served all day.
The bar-area welcome and central location make it a useful pause between walks or sightseeing, and the wet-weather indoor access means nobody needs to do the pavement-waiting shuffle when the rain arrives.
