Cafe 193 is a relaxed coffee shop on Plumstead Road in Norwich, serving breakfast, coffee and cakes throughout the day. Dogs are welcome inside on a lead, so you can settle in for a proper break without leaving anyone behind.

The cafe opens Monday to Saturday from 8am to 5.30pm and Sunday from 9am to 4pm, making it a useful stop for early coffee or a mid-afternoon rest after a walk around the NR3 side of the city. The atmosphere is friendly and low-key, with enough space for a dog to lie quietly under the table.

Recent visitors have noted water bowls and biscuits making an appearance, though these aren't guaranteed extras. It's the kind of place where you can manage wet paws, a tangled lead and a flat white without drama.
