Days Out Are For Dogs Too

Cairngorm Reindeer Herd runs a visitor centre and gift shop in Glenmore, just outside Aviemore, where you can book hill trips to meet Britain's only free-ranging reindeer and pick up souvenirs. Dogs are welcome inside the shop, so you can browse books, toys and local crafts together without leaving anyone in the car.
The reindeer paddocks and guided hill trips aren't open to dogs, but the shop makes a useful stop if you're exploring the Cairngorms and want a quick browse or a memento. The accessibility page notes that dogs can be held in the shop while the rest of your group visits the exhibition, which helps if you're travelling as a mixed party.
It's a genuine visitor hub for the area, offering both a retail experience and the chance to book one of the famous reindeer encounters. The shop itself is compact and focused on the herd's story, so visits tend to be short and purposeful rather than leisurely.

Dog Policy:
Dogs are welcome inside the shop, but they aren't allowed in the paddocks or on the guided hill trips to meet the reindeer.
