Days Out Are For Dogs Too

Conwy Valley Railway Museum in Betws-y-Coed is a proper railway museum where dogs are welcome inside the museum building, on the miniature train rides and in the shop. It's a genuine day-out destination for railway fans and their dogs, with exhibits, working locomotives and a ride that lets your dog join you on the tracks. The museum is open Wednesday to Sunday from 10:00 to 17:00, closed Mondays and Tuesdays.
Dogs can explore the museum alongside you and then hop aboard the miniature railway for a ride through the site. It's a rare chance to keep the whole group together for something more interesting than a walk. On-site parking is available and the museum is about 15 miles from Conwy by road.
Arrive at least 30 minutes before the last train if you're planning a ride, as times vary by season and weather. Keep your dog under control throughout the visit.
