A very handy all-in-one Southport stop, Dobbies combines the usual plant-and-garden-centre temptation with a restaurant, foodhall and even soft play. That makes it more outing than errand, especially if the original plan was “just a quick look” and now there is a trolley, lunch and a houseplant involved. It feels broad, practical and easy to stretch into a proper visit, with enough variety to suit both purposeful shopping and slower browsing. This is the kind of place that works when people want coffee, gardening bits, gifts or just somewhere to mooch without the weather getting a vote. Garden-centre mission creep is basically part of the ticket price.

Good to know:

Water bowls available

Treats available

Doggy Menu available

Dog Policy:

Dogs are welcome inside, so garden-centre wandering can stay a full-pack activity. Expect browsing, café temptation and a dog accompanying the trolley like your slightly hairy retail consultant.
