The Dog & Partridge is a Greene King pub in Bury St Edmunds where dogs are welcome inside, including in the dining area. You'll find it just under half a mile from the town centre, making it a practical stop whether you're exploring the local streets or need somewhere to settle in with lunch and a lead still hooked over your chair.

The kitchen serves food Monday to Saturday from noon until 9pm and Sundays from noon to 8pm, so there's plenty of opportunity to sit down together without splitting the group. The pub is open Monday to Thursday from 11am to 11pm, Friday and Saturday from 11am to midnight and Sundays from noon to 10:30pm.

It's the kind of spot where your dog can supervise proceedings from under the table while you eat and nobody minds a bit of floor-level admin during the meal. Straightforward, central and dog-friendly throughout.
