Glen Nevis Restaurant is a bar and restaurant just outside Fort William, handy for walkers heading to or from Ben Nevis and Glen Nevis. Dogs are welcome inside in the bar area, where food is served all day, making it a practical stop before the hills or after a muddy trudge down.

The bar runs from noon until 10pm daily, with tables, drinks and a full menu available throughout. There's on-site parking, which takes the sting out of arrival with kit, dog and damp boots in tow.

It's one of those useful Fort William spots where the whole group can settle in together without splitting up or leaving anyone shivering outside. The bar area is the dog-allowed zone; the separate restaurant section isn't, so stick to the bar side and you're sorted.

Good to know:

Water bowls available

Free treats available

Doggy menu available

Dog Policy:

Dogs are welcome in the bar area, where food is served all day. The separate restaurant section is dog-free, so keep to the bar side and the whole group can settle in together.
