GO Outdoors Inverness is a large outdoor retail store on the west side of Inverness, stocking clothing, camping kit, footwear and everything else you might need before heading into the hills. Dogs are welcome inside, so there's no need to leave anyone tied up in the rain while you hunt for waterproofs or a replacement head torch.

The store keeps water bowls available for thirsty customers and dogs should stay on a lead while browsing. It's a practical stop for walkers and campers passing through Inverness, whether you're replacing forgotten kit or picking up supplies before a longer trip.

You'll find GO Outdoors off the main visitor routes into town, about a mile from the centre. Useful for stocking up without the stress of leaving the dog in the car and handy if you're the kind of household where the camping checklist always includes the dog bed first.
