Pipemakers Arms is a proper Rye local on the station side of town, serving food and drink with dogs welcome inside. It's a large, friendly pub where you can settle in with a pint and your dog at the table, making it an easy stop for walkers coming into town or anyone killing time before a train.
The pub runs a normal indoor dog policy, so you can keep the team together while you eat. Food is served throughout and there's no need to shuffle outside or negotiate outdoor-only seating when the weather turns.
Open Monday to Thursday noon to 11pm, Friday and Saturday 11am to 1am and Sunday noon to 10pm. It's handy for the station end of Rye and offers the kind of relaxed, public-house welcome that works well when you've got leads, bags and a dog who's done enough exploring for one day.
