Pointz Castle Ice Cream is a dog-friendly ice cream parlour and farm shop on the edge of St Davids, serving scoops, drinks and local treats in a relaxed, family-friendly setting. Dogs are welcome inside, so you can keep the whole group together while you choose your flavour and settle in for a proper sit-down break.

Open daily from 11am to 5pm, it's a straightforward stop for ice cream, coffee or a browse through local crafts and produce. The indoor seating means no one has to hover outside with the lead while everyone else queues.

It works well as an add-on when heading toward the southern coastal roads and makes a low-key refuelling point after a morning on the cliffs or before the drive back. Dogs welcome inside, treats optional, stress minimal.
