Ruby's Bar is a compact cocktail bar in the heart of Padstow, part of the Rick Stein collection, where dogs are welcome inside. It's the kind of place you can drop into after a harbour walk without splitting the group and the evening-only opening hours make it a natural stop once the day's exploring is done.

The bar focuses on cocktails and atmosphere rather than sprawling menus, so it suits a relaxed drink rather than a long dinner session. Dogs settle in at the tables while you choose from the cocktail list and the central location means it's an easy addition to a Padstow evening itinerary.

Ruby's is open Monday to Friday and Sunday from 5pm until 10pm and Saturday from midday. It's handy for St Petroc's and the harbour and there's no need to leave anyone outside while you grab a drink.
