The Ship Inn is a proper harbour-side pub in the heart of Polperro, serving food and drinks with dogs welcome inside. You can eat and drink together without leaving anyone tethered outside, which matters when you're exploring narrow Cornish harbour lanes and the lead is already tangled round three bollards. Food is served Monday to Saturday from noon until 8.30pm and Sunday lunch runs from noon to 4pm.
The pub is open daily from noon to midnight, so there's plenty of time to settle in after a coastal walk or a wander through the village. The menu covers classic pub food and the indoor welcome means your dog can supervise from under the table while you work through it.
Polperro is a favourite with dog owners walking the South West Coast Path and exploring the tight, cobbled streets around the harbour. The Ship Inn gives you a reliable dog-friendly stop where you can both catch your breath and refuel.
