At the Buffet Stop Tea Room, we offer a warm and friendly welcome. The Tea Room serves a range of different food, sandwiches, cakes, snacks and hot drinks, pop and soft drinks. Many items on our menu are provided by Pottergate Pantry, a centre in Alnwick for adults with learning, physical and sensory disabilities.
Indoor and outdoor seating is available.

Our shop is based at Lionheart Station. As well as having a good range of gifts and souvenirs, you can also purchase your train and miniature railway tickets here.

Well behaved dogs are normally allowed on the train, but we ask they are kept off the seats. They are not allowed in some compartments, which are clearly marked. For the comfort of others, we ask only one dog per adult is permitted on our trains.

On certain special event days, such as Santa Specials, dogs may not be permitted (with the exception of assistance dogs).
