Ambleside Tap Yard

Situated in Ambleside’s old mill yard adjacent to the historic Bridge House, we specialise in serving pasteurised brewery-fresh craft beers served direct from six large copper tanks displayed above the bar, plus a range of other local, national and international beer offerings. We have drinks to quench everyone’s thirst.

The extensive bar selection is complemented by quality wood-fired hand-stretched pizzas, gourmet burgers & sharing delicatessen boards made using only the finest freshest locally sourced ingredients.

We’re lucky enough to be positioned close to several popular Lake District walking routes, making us the perfect place to fuel up before a hike or to rest up after a hard day trekking in the fells.

We welcome dogs into our bar area and have bowls outside where they can enjoy a refreshing drink.
