Barrelhouse

Inspired by the classic dive bars of the southern states, we've aimed to create a hybrid venue that combines the vibe and aesthetic of a dive bar with a good old traditional British boozer. Couple that with a laid back service style and great tunes we feel like we're onto a winning formula.

​Situated in the heart of Clifton next to the Student Union, this historic pub has changed hands many a time over the years, now settling under the management of the team that also brought you the Vittoria and The Ship Inn.

Our kitchen is open six days a week serving hot and fresh Detroit-style pizza, and you can enjoy our signature Happy Hour from open til' 10pm Monday-Saturday. With a back-to-back roster of events, a sun-trap roof terrace, pool table, extensive cocktail menu and great selection of draught beers and ciders, what's not to love?!
