Welcome to our charming and whimsical Georgian Townhouse, where history and imaginationcome alive. Once an Oddfellows Hall — a meeting place for misfits and dreamers — it’s nowhome to an award-winning bar, restaurant, a hidden gem of a Secret Garden aswell as individually designed boutique rooms.

Alice's Parlour
Step through the looking glass and into a world where sense takes a nap and wonder runs the show. Right in the heart of Chester, Alice’s Parlour is a topsy-turvy escape from the ordinary – a place where the ceiling wears harlequin diamonds, roses grow straight out of the tables (yes, really), books hover mid-air as if deep in thought, and candlelight flickers from teacups that refuse to stay grounded.

The Lounge Bar
A classic panelled Georgian drawing room with a magnificent bar - complete with a fabulous fireplace, inviting lounge furnishings and topped off by woodland frescos. The Lounge Bar is the perfect place to enjoy cocktails, champagnes chilled to perfection, fine wines selected with you in mind and spirits and beers from around the world. Take a look at our drinks menu to find out what will tantalise your tastebuds this weekend. Open 7 days a week. Just pop in, there's no need to book but we don't blame you if you don't want to miss out... we can't wait to see you!

The Secret Garden
The secretist of gardens! AN ESCAPE FROM THE CITY OUTSIDE.
A true retreat from the city outside. Cheeky garden gnomes and oversized lamps abound and give this classic walled garden a personality of its own, with heated huts to keep you cosy well into the evening. Enjoy everything from cocktails, lunch to afternoon tea and late-night cocktails in this beautifully tranquil private outdoor space.

We are a dog friendly in the bar and garden - we also have some dog friendly rooms for an overnight stay.
