Lappa Valley is the only attraction in Cornwall that transports families on an exciting nostalgic train ride from the car park, into a secret world of traditional fun and family adventures.

Children will delight in the thrill of train and boat rides, explore nature, and let off steam in our outdoor spaces. Then explore The Engine Shed, which is home to our multi-level indoor soft play area and café where you can refuel in comfort.

Dog Friendly Lappa Valley

We know that dogs are in important part of your family - that's why we're very happy to welcome them to join you for a day out at Lappa Valley. We are pleased to be one of Cornwall’s most popular dog-friendly attractions, and being dog-lovers ourselves we’ve made lots of little touches to make our four legged friends feel welcome and included.

We charge a very small admission fee for doggy visitors, which includes a complimentary lip-smacking biscuit on arrival, sure to make any tail wag. We also have water bowls across the site, serve special Doggy Ice Cream in The Crib Hut and a big supply of free poo bags in case you forget yours.

Dogs are welcome anywhere on site, with two exceptions: inside the soft play itself and on our trampolines – even though we’re sure they’d enjoy it. Take them on the trains, bring them in The Engine Shed Cafe, if you’re brave enough take them on the Pedalo Swans – we want your four-legged friends to get the most out of their visit too.

We also have the Woodland Walk, and a dedicated dog exercise field which is available during the main season where you can let them off their lead to let off steam and even have a paddle in the stream.

Consideration and respect for everyone
We operate a policy of consideration and respect. We understand that not everyone who visits Lappa Valley will be a dog fan, so we ask respectfully that all dogs are well-behaved and kept on leads at all times, unless in the dog exercise field.
