Dreaming of a dog-friendly getaway with stunning scenery and a touch of history? Look no further than Bamburgh and Seahouses, two gems on the Northumberland coast! These villages offer a paw-fect blend of dramatic landscapes, historical intrigue, and a warm welcome for your furry friend. (Get ready for some regal wags!)
Historically Happy Hounds:
Bamburgh, dominated by its magnificent castle, has a history stretching back centuries. While we can't be sure if royal pooches roamed the castle grounds, we can imagine brave hounds patrolling the battlements, keeping watch over the North Sea. Seahouses, a bustling fishing village, has likely seen generations of sea dogs eagerly awaiting their owners' return from the waves.
