Wig and Pen

Welcome to the Wig & Pen, a family-friendly pub in the centre of Oxford. Our name is a reference to a judge's wig and pen and was inspired by a law court that once stood nearby.

We're opposite the New Theatre Oxford, so we're perfect for a pre or post-theatre visit. Our generous food menu is packed with traditional classics, plus our well-stocked bar has an array of premium beers, as well as world wines and signature cocktails.

Our warm welcome extends to dogs too, with water bowls and treats available.

We've got TNT Sports and Sky Sports showcasing the latest action on our screens, plus we have a DJ set every Saturday until 1am and host a weekly comedy night. You can even book our function room if you're hosting a celebration of your own. Our free Wi-Fi can keep you up to date with our latest events, plus we've got disabled facilities for a hassle-free visit
