Farrer's Bar and Restaurant

Situated on the beautiful South Bay, Farrer’s Bar and Restaurant is located right next to the sea. Breath-taking views of the Bay can be seen right from the restaurant.

Farrer’s derived its name from Mrs Thomasin Farrer, the wife of one of Scarborough’s leading citizens in the 17th Century who discovered natural spring water bubbling out beneath the cliff. It was believed the water had medicinal effects that in turn led to thousands of visitors flocking to the area to benefit from the supposed medicinal qualities.
