3 of Cups Durham is an independent café on North Road in the city centre, just a short walk from Durham bus station. Dogs are welcome inside for coffee, breakfast and brunch, making it a useful pit-stop when you're navigating the town with your four-legged supervisor in tow. The café serves breakfast and brunch alongside cakes and coffee and opens Monday and Saturday from 10am to 4pm, Tuesday to Friday from 9am to 4pm.
It's closed on Sundays. The indoor dining area is dog-friendly, so you and your dog can settle in together over a proper sit-down meal.
Treats and water for dogs and the owners have confirmed that well-behaved dogs are genuinely welcome. It's a relaxed, central spot for dog owners exploring Durham or breaking up a morning's errands with caffeine and something decent to eat.
