Aberconwy House Second-hand Bookshop sits in the heart of Conwy, tucked inside one of the town's oldest surviving medieval houses. Dogs are welcome inside the shop, so you can browse shelves of pre-loved titles without leaving anyone tied up outside. It's a straightforward stop on a day exploring the walled town and castle quarter.

The bookshop is run by the National Trust and stocks a changing selection of second-hand reads alongside guidebooks and local interest titles. The compact rooms suit a gentle wander rather than a long stay, but for a ten-minute browse between walks or while the rain passes, it's a quietly useful option.

Conwy railway station is around 300 yards away and the shop is easy to reach on foot from the main visitor streets. There's no on-site parking, but you're in the centre of town with plenty to see once you've found a space.
