Aldringham Tea Room is a proper tearoom on Thorpe Road between Aldeburgh and Thorpeness, handy for walkers, village visitors and anyone in need of a dog-friendly stop.
Dogs are welcome inside, so muddy paws and wet coats won't keep you out. The menu features home-made lunches, cakes and traditional high teas served from 15:30 to 16:30 daily. The whole group can settle in together and reviews mention a dog bed on hand for tired legs.
Open daily from 10am to 5pm, it's the kind of place where you can catch your breath between coastal walks and no one minds a bit of Suffolk sand on the floor.
