Amelia Trust Farm is a hands-on outdoor farm attraction near Cardiff where families and their dogs can explore woodland walks, meet friendly farm animals and enjoy a peaceful pond and bird hide. Open daily from 10am to 4.30pm, it's a brilliant day out for dogs who love new smells and gentle outdoor adventure.
Dogs are welcome throughout the farm grounds on lead, with free parking making it easy to arrive with the whole crew. The onsite Green Leaf Café welcomes dogs inside and even serves special dog ice cream—a thoughtful touch that turns a snack break into a proper treat.
There's also a bookable dog recall and training field where your dog can run off-lead in a secure space, perfect for a bit of freedom after exploring the farm on lead. With woodland trails, animals to watch from a safe distance and plenty of outdoor space to wander, Amelia Trust Farm gives you and your dog a relaxed morning or afternoon in the fresh air without the usual farm-visit stress of leaving them behind.
