That’s our way of flagging the places that go further — beyond “dogs allowed”, with a genuinely warm welcome for dogs inside.

Lincoln's Arboretum is a proper leg-stretcher with main-character energy. It's all sweeping paths, leafy shade and just enough "ooh what's that?" corners to keep a dog's nose happily employed. Think pond-side pauses, bridges for dramatic trots, and benches perfectly positioned for you to sip, snack and practise saying "leave it" with polite confidence.

There's a dash of old-school park charm too, the kind that makes every photo look suspiciously wholesome. Dogs who love a routine can do the same loop twice. Dogs who love chaos can treat it like a sniff safari and still somehow end up back at the gates.

It's brilliant for decompressing after city streets, and ideal when you need fresh air but your dog needs a whole novel's worth of smells. Bring a ball. Prepare for a slow walk anyway.

Good to know:

Water bowls available

Free treats available

Doggy menu available

Dog Policy:

Dogs are welcome on lead throughout the park, so bring bags and keep the paths tidy for everyone's next sniff safari.
