Avon Mill Cafe sits within a working garden centre just outside Salcombe, where dogs are welcome inside the main cafe and under the covered canopy.
It's a handy stop on the Kingsbridge side with breakfast, brunch, lunch, homemade cakes and afternoon tea all served daily from 9:15am to 5pm, so you can settle in with food and a coffee while your dog supervises the table. The cafe is part of a wider garden-centre site with a deli, art gallery and shop, so there's plenty to browse once the humans have refuelled. Only the Garden Room conservatory is kept dog free, leaving the main indoor space and outdoor canopy fully accessible for dogs and their owners.
Useful for walks around Loddiswell and the Avon Valley, Avon Mill Cafe makes a practical midpoint for a South Devon day out when you need food, a sniff break and a bit of browsing all in one place.
