Days Out Are For Dogs Too

Barefoot Jericho is the flagship branch of this much-loved Oxford bakery, set on Walton Street with Port Meadow, the station and the city centre all within easy reach. It is the sort of place that feels well placed for a proper pause, especially when there are handmade cakes, pastries, fresh breads, teas and wood-roasted coffee involved. Barefoot’s wider bakery ethos runs through the whole place, with everything made from scratch in small batches using natural ingredients and classic flavours rather than flashy nonsense.
This branch also carries the biggest range of cakes and bakes, so it has a bit of a greatest-hits feeling for anyone who likes choosing from far too many excellent options. A lovely Oxford bakery stop with proper substance behind the pretty counter.
Dog Policy:
Dogs are welcome inside, which makes this Jericho stop ideal for coffee, cake and a very serious stare at the pastry counter. Small, clean dogs are specifically welcomed, so bring the good manners and save the table-sniffing for your own lunch.
