The Barley Mow is a country pub on the A52 between Skegness and Friskney, with dogs welcome inside in the bar area. Food is served there too, so you can enjoy a proper sit-down meal with your dog settled alongside you. The pub is open Thursday to Sunday, with lunch and evening service across the weekend and evening opening on Thursday and Friday.
Dog-friendly dining is limited to a small number of tables in the bar, and these are popular with both dog owners and other customers. If you're planning to eat with your dog, it's worth calling the pub in advance to check that a suitable table is available — especially in winter, when the log burners make the bar particularly sought-after.
This also applies if you've already booked online, as the booking system doesn't reliably flag comments about bringing a dog. A quick phone call confirms everything. With free off-street parking and a beer garden too, it's a handy base for exploring the Lincolnshire coast and countryside.
Good to know:
Water bowls available
Free treats available
Doggy menu available
Dog Policy:
Dogs are welcome inside in the bar area, where food is served too — so the whole group can eat together. Tables are limited, so a quick call ahead keeps noses and plans pointing in the right direction.
