Beacon Farm Ice Cream, Campsite & Tearooms is a proper countryside stop on the edge of Whitby, combining homemade ice cream, tearoom treats, and a bit more breathing space than the busy town centre. Dogs are welcome inside the tearoom, so nobody needs to do the pavement shuffle while someone else orders.
It works well when the dog needs a change of scene and the humans need tea, cake, or lunch with a rural backdrop. There is a relaxed, family-run feel here, with outdoor space and a setting that suits slower dog-day pacing rather than quick in-and-out refuelling.
A good one for padding a Whitby trip with farm-shop energy, snack optimism, and at least one hopeful stare aimed at the ice cream.
