Bear Inn in Bath is a historic pub with boutique rooms, built for days that start with breakfast, turn into exploring, and end with a very satisfying sit-down meal. Dogs are welcome inside, so nobody needs to do the pavement-waiting shuffle while someone else orders.

Expect seasonal menus, classic comfort dishes, and a cosy, traditional pub atmosphere with a bit of polish. It's a great shout for a relaxed lunch or dinner in the centre, and also a handy base if you're staying over and want everything walkable.

Check their site for food times, menus, and room details. A proper Bath pub that works for paws, people, and the kind of day that deserves a good roast at the end.

Dog Policy:

Dogs welcome inside. Keep them on a short lead and tucked in close so the old-school pub corners stay walkable.
