Beaulieu is a major New Forest heritage attraction near Winchester where your dog is welcome to join you through the expansive grounds while the rest of the family explores museums, historic houses and the famous monorail. Dogs must stay on lead throughout and aren't allowed inside the National Motor Museum, Palace House, Abbey, Secret Army Exhibition or on rides, but there's an unattended waiting area beneath the museum entrance if you need to tag-team your visit.

Open daily from 10am (except Christmas Day), the estate closes at 5pm in winter and 6pm in summer, with last admission half an hour before closing. Free on-site parking for over 1,000 vehicles takes the stress out of arrival and there's a separate disabled car park next to visitor reception.

The Brabazon Restaurant welcomes dogs, so you can plan a proper day out without leaving anyone in the car. It's grounds-only access for most of the site, but the sheer scale and variety make it a useful New Forest stop when you need a family day that keeps the dog included.

Dog Policy:

Dogs are welcome in the grounds on a lead but not inside the National Motor Museum, Palace House, Abbey, Secret Army Exhibition or on rides. The Brabazon Restaurant welcomes dogs and there's an unattended waiting area beneath the museum entrance.
