Becconsall Lancashire’s Living Museum and Heritage Park is an open-air heritage attraction in Hesketh Bank, just off the A59 between Southport and Preston. Set across a 20-acre former brickworks site, it brings local history to life through its collections, demonstrations and events, with plenty to explore around the outdoor grounds.
Dogs are very welcome to join you throughout the heritage park, provided they’re kept on a lead. Water bowls are available beside the Welcome Centre too, making it an easy place to spend a few hours discovering Lancashire’s past without leaving the dog behind.
The museum is open every Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 4pm, with last entry at 3.30pm. Free on-site parking is available, with donations welcomed to help support this developing community attraction.
