Beer in Hand is a family-owned, independent micropub in Hereford where dogs are welcome inside. It serves great beer on cask and keg, plus cans and bottles to drink in or take out, alongside traditional Herefordshire ciders, wines and craft spirits—many locally produced. Well-behaved dogs need to stay on a lead, so everyone can enjoy a relaxed pint together.
The pub is open Tuesday to Thursday from 5pm, Friday from 4pm and Saturday from 1pm, with pizza served on Thursdays from 6pm until 8.45pm or sell-out. It's closed on Mondays and Sundays, and last orders are 30 minutes before closing. The web shop currently stocks specials and beer boxes, with the full range of cans and bottles available in the pub.
It's the kind of spot where post-walk pints, local flavours and a quiet corner come together without fuss. Dogs can settle at your feet while you browse the taps, and nobody has to miss out on the good stuff because someone's on pavement duty.

Dog Policy:
Dogs are welcome inside, so nobody needs to do the pavement-waiting shuffle. Keep them on a lead and paws on the floor, and everyone can enjoy a relaxed pint together.
