Belmont Haywood Country Park in Hereford is a leafy country park offering open space, trails and steady leg-stretches for dogs and their humans. Local visitors can access the park from Waterfield Road or Cedar / Sycamore Avenue, while those travelling from further afield will find a car park off Waterfield Road.

The park has been developing since the farmland was passed to Herefordshire Council seven years ago as part of a planning condition for a nearby housing estate. It lies alongside Newton Meadows, the Belmont pools and Newton Coppice, creating a network of green space for exploring.

It's a practical spot for an easy nature reset, with room for sniff stops and steady walks without the fuss of formal attractions. Just remember to clean up after your pooch and keep the park pleasant for everyone.
