Set right in the heart of Warkworth, Bertram's is made for slowing down and enjoying great local produce with a side of coastline charm. Dogs are welcome inside during the day in all areas, and in the evening there's an allocated dog-friendly section, so everyone can settle in together. Pop in for coffee and cake, or make a proper meal of it.
In winter, there are not one but two roaring fires to cosy up beside, and in summer the outdoor courtyard is the place for a glass of wine and a sun-soak. A limited number of dog-friendly B&B rooms are also available if you're making a mini break of it.
It's the kind of place where you arrive for something quick and leave with a full belly, a calmer soul, and a dog who has made at least one new best friend.
