Birling Gap and the Seven Sisters is a managed National Trust coastal destination near Eastbourne, offering cliff-top scenery, beach access, downland countryside, a visitor centre, café and shop. Dogs on leads are welcome on the beach, in the shop and in the café, making it a proper outdoor day out where your dog can stay with you throughout. The countryside is open from dawn to dusk daily, while the café and shop run from 10:00 to 17:00.

There's an official pay-and-display car park on site; National Trust members, motorcycles and Blue Badge holders park free. Coach parking is no longer available.

Dogs must stay on lead around wildlife, livestock and near the cliff edge. The combination of beach, coastal paths and indoor café access means you can settle in for a drink without leaving anyone tied up outside, then head straight back out for another round of cliff-top sniffing.
