Black Isle Bar sits on Gordon Square in the centre of Fort William, a craft-beer pub serving pizza and pints in a relaxed bar atmosphere. Dogs are welcome inside, so the whole group can settle in together while you work through the beer list and the kitchen takes care of lunch or dinner.

The bar is open daily from midday until 11pm, with food served until 10pm every night. It's a straightforward stop after walking the High Street, with craft beer from Black Isle Brewery and a menu that makes it easy to turn a quick drink into a longer visit.

The pub is right in the tourist centre, close to Gordon Square and works well as a base for regrouping with your dog between Fort William's outdoor adventures. No on-site parking, but the central location means you're within easy walking distance of the town's public car parks and main routes.
