Blickling Estate is a grand National Trust property set in sprawling parkland and woodland near Cromer, where dogs are welcome across much of the estate. Your dog can join you on the paths, rights of way, in the farmyard, bookshop, front drive, estate barn and the Muddy Boots café—plenty to make a proper day of it without leaving anyone in the car. The house, formal garden and a handful of indoor visitor spaces are assistance dogs only, but the outdoor estate is the real draw.
The parkland and woodland offer miles of exploring and the estate barn and Muddy Boots café mean you can refuel mid-ramble with your dog by your side. Keep dogs under close control and on a lead where signed, especially around livestock.
Parking is available on site, with National Trust members parking free and non-members paying standard charges. It's about 8.9 miles from Cromer town centre, making it an easy full-day outing when you want space, history and fresh air with your four-legged walking companion.
