The Blue Bell Inn is a classic stone-built Dales pub in Kettlewell, serving food and local ale with dogs welcome inside. Settle into the bar with muddy paws and a thirsty spaniel and let the whole group dry off together while lunch arrives. Food is served daily, with kitchen hours running 12–3 pm and 5–9 pm Monday to Saturday and 12–8 pm on Sundays.

It's a traditional village stop for Upper Wharfedale walkers, with open fires and a no-fuss welcome that works whether you're planning a long afternoon or grabbing a quick pint between routes. The pub is open from noon until 11 pm most days and until 10 pm on Sundays.

Kettlewell sits just over five miles from Grassington, tucked into the limestone folds of the Yorkshire Dales. The Blue Bell also offers dog-friendly rooms if the weather turns and you'd rather stay put than tackle the drive home with a tired terrier in the boot.
