Blueprint Coffee & Books is a compact independent café and bookshop on Whitstable's Oxford Street, near the station end of the town centre's main shopping stretch. Dogs are welcome inside, so you can browse the shelves, settle in with a flat white and keep your dog beside the table while you flick through a new find or catch up on messages.

The atmosphere is relaxed and book-loving, with a small retail selection of gifts and cards alongside the coffee and cake counter. It's the sort of stop that works when you've been trailing round town and everyone needs a sit-down and a biscuit.

Open Monday and Wednesday to Saturday from 9am, Sunday from 9.30am and closed on Tuesdays. Indoor seating is dog-friendly throughout, so there's no need to leave anyone tied up outside or choose between coffee and company.

Good to know:

Water bowls available

Free treats available

Doggy menu available

Dog Policy:

Dogs are welcome inside the café, so you can browse the books and enjoy coffee together.
