The Boating Pool Café is a breezy, salt-in-the-air kind of stop — the sort of place that feels made for post-walk coffees, wind-tousled hair and dogs who are absolutely convinced the entire promenade exists just for them. Set beside Ramsgate’s boating pool, it blends sea views, casual food and that easy, sun-chasing atmosphere that works perfectly after a cliff-top stomp or a harbour wander.
There’s a lovely looseness to it all — grab a table, watch the water, let the day stretch out a bit. It’s relaxed, social and just the right side of lively when the weather’s doing its thing.
Dogs are very much part of the scene. Well-behaved pups on leads are welcome inside, with water bowls, free treats, doggy ice cream and pup cakes all on offer — which, frankly, sets the bar quite high for everywhere else.
Good to know:
Water bowls available
Treats available

Dog Policy:
Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome inside at The Boating Pool Cafe, with treats often available, but opening hours are seasonal so it is always worth checking ahead before you set off.
