Books & Bevs is an independent bookshop and café in Acomb, York, blending shelves of new and pre-loved books with drinks, bakes and a relaxed community feel. The space is built around browsing, reading and lingering a little longer, with curated fiction, children’s books, graphic novels, poetry and more alongside regular events and bookish gatherings. It feels less like a rushed stop and more like the kind of place where “just popping in” turns into a drink, a stack of books, and a very contented dog under the table while you debate whether you need one more chapter or one more purchase.
