Borgyn & Bakes is a tiny, magical bakery café tucked away in Westgate-on-Sea — the kind of place that feels like you’ve stumbled into something a bit special. Built around a wizarding theme, it leans fully into the experience, with cosy rooms, potion-like drinks and an atmosphere that’s equal parts quirky, creative and genuinely welcoming.

Afternoon teas are the main event, with a full Harry Potter-inspired spread that turns a simple coffee stop into something much more memorable. Alongside that, you’ll find fresh bakes, cakes, coffee and sweet treats that make it just as easy to drop in for something small (and accidentally stay longer than planned).

It’s a very small space, which adds to the charm — more hidden gem than high street café — and booking ahead is a smart move if you’ve got your heart set on the full experience.

Dogs are welcome inside, so you can enjoy the magic together without anyone being left outside.
