That’s our way of flagging the places that go further — beyond “dogs allowed”, with a genuinely warm welcome for dogs inside.

Set right on Broadstairs' High Street, The Bradstow Mill is a proper local with a bit of lift to it — easygoing in the day, then gently turning up the volume as the evening rolls in. Dogs are welcome inside, so paws and people can settle in together whether it's a casual daytime drink or an evening that quietly turns into staying longer than planned.

Inside, it's full of character, with smaller spaces wrapped around a central bar that make it feel sociable without being overwhelming. There's a steady rhythm of live music, karaoke and events through the week, giving it that "something's always happening" feel. Water bowls and treats are available to keep hopeful noses happy while you find your corner.

It's the kind of place where you can watch the atmosphere build around you — lively, friendly, and rooted in the town rather than styled for show. On Friday and Saturday evenings, dogs are asked to head home by 8pm when the music gets louder and the crowd thickens, but the rest of the week it's a relaxed, dog-friendly stop on the High Street.
