Bramcote Hills Park and The Walled Garden is a popular dog-walking park on Ilkeston Road in Bramcote, just west of central Nottingham. The woodland here is a designated dog exercise area, giving your dog proper off-lead freedom to sniff, explore and burn energy. The park's open spaces and paths make it easy to string together a decent walk without needing to drive anywhere else.
The fenced play area is dog free, so keep leads handy near that zone. Elsewhere in the park, the usual dog-fouling rules apply, but the woodland remains the star attraction for local dog owners who want a reliable, no-fuss exercise spot.
Free car parking is available at the park, which makes spontaneous visits straightforward when the weather turns or you need a quick change of scenery. The park is open 24 hours, so early risers and evening walkers both have access.
