Brandon Country Park

Brandon Country Park is a managed country park and arboretum in The Brecks near Thetford, offering dog owners trails, lawns, woodland and lake walks across its grounds. It's a proper visitor destination rather than a quick green space, with play areas and plenty to explore on lead. Dogs are welcome throughout the park grounds and arboretum, but must stay on a lead at all times.

The Walled Garden and Tearoom are both dog-free except for assistance dogs, so plan your route accordingly if you're hoping for cake and a sit-down indoors. The park is open every day of the year from dawn to dusk, with a dedicated on-site car park accepting cash, card or RingGo.

Parking charges apply. It's the kind of outing where you can spend a couple of hours sniffing through trees and circling the lake without fighting for space or worrying about off-lead chaos.
