Bread and Butterflies is a relaxed vegan tearoom in West Bridgford, just south of the Trent and useful for Nottingham visitors exploring Lady Bay and the riverside neighbourhoods. Dogs are welcome inside, so the whole group can settle in over breakfast, lunch or afternoon cake without anyone waiting outside. The menu is fully plant-based and the tearoom doubles as a small gallery space with gifts and artwork on sale. Open Monday, Thursday and Friday from 11 a.m. To 4 p.m. And weekends from 11 a.m.

To 5 p.m. Closed Tuesday and Wednesday. A quietly welcoming option when you need sit-down food, vegan choices and a dog-friendly table south of the river.
