Brecon Tap is a dog-friendly pub in the centre of Brecon where dogs are welcome inside for a drink or meal. It serves real ale and pub food across lunch and evening service, with breakfast at the weekend—handy when everyone in the group needs a proper sit-down.
The kitchen runs split shifts Monday to Thursday and extends to later service on Friday and Saturday evenings, with Sunday lunch stretching through to 8pm. Dogs can settle under the table while their people work through the menu and the outdoor drinking area offers another option when the weather behaves.
Brecon Tap opens from midday most days, with earlier weekend starts and stays open until 11pm on weekdays, midnight on Friday and Saturday and 10pm on Sunday. It's a practical stop for town visitors, walkers coming off the hills and anyone whose plans involve keeping dog and pint in the same room.
