Bryngarw Country Park Dog Wash is a self-service dog washing station next to the visitor centre and car park at Bryngarw Country Park, a few miles inland from Porthcawl. Installed and run by The Dog Wash Company, the station uses warm water and comes stocked with shampoo, conditioner and a dryer, so you can tackle post-walk mud without dragging half the country park home.

No appointment needed – it's walk-up use, making it a practical last stop after woodland trails and muddy romps around the park. The station sits in an easy-to-reach spot for anyone visiting Bryngarw or passing through the Bridgend area with a soggy spaniel in tow.

Particularly useful for Porthcawl dog owners who've ventured into the countryside and want to return home with a cleaner back seat. The self-service setup gives you control of the hose, the water temperature and the wriggle factor.
