The Burcott Inn is a dog-friendly pub on the edge of Wells, where dogs are welcome inside. It's a proper local less than two miles from the town centre and the kind of place where keeping the whole group together doesn't require negotiation. Inside, your dog can settle alongside you while you sort out drinks and food.
The pub opens Tuesday evenings from 6pm, then runs through Wednesday to Saturday midday until 10pm and Sunday midday to 7.30pm. Monday is their day off. That straightforward access is the detail that turns a quick drink or meal into a genuine break for the whole group.
Dogs are welcome throughout, so there's no awkward door shuffle or wet-paw zoning. It's a useful option when you need somewhere unpretentious that lets the dog stay put and the humans relax without splitting the pack.
Good to know:
Water bowls available
Free treats available
Doggy menu available
Dog Policy:
Dogs are welcome inside the pub. The whole group stays together and there's no need to split humans from hounds at the door.
